Free to start. You only pay when you sell — and buyers never pay a Peppaca fee. Here’s exactly how it works for makers and buyers.

Peppaca’s fee is 5% ($2.50) — and buyers pay you directly through PayPal.

🧵 What makers pay

A simple 5% referral fee on the item subtotal (after any discount, excluding tax and shipping), invoiced monthly.

No listing fees · No monthly fees · No cost to open a shop. You only pay when something sells — that’s lower than the ~10%+ charged by many handmade marketplaces.

🛍️ What buyers pay

The listed price, plus shipping (if any) and any estimated tax. No buyer fees and no membership — ever.

Your payment goes directly to the maker via PayPal or card at checkout.

Competitor rates are as of 2026 and shown for comparison — check each marketplace for current terms. Peppaca’s 5% applies to the item subtotal only, so on shipping-heavy orders the gap is even larger.

Some makers include shipping in the price, so the buyer pays nothing extra to receive it.

📦 Seller-quoted shipping

For other items, the maker quotes the real shipping cost for the buyer’s address, and the buyer picks an option before paying — fair for buyers, no out-of-pocket surprises for makers.

Ready-made pieces ship right away from the maker’s stock — buy it, and it’s on its way.

🎨 Made-to-order

Made just for you after you order, with a stated lead time — and often custom options (color, size, personalization) the maker offers.

✋ Original creations only

Peppaca is a home for original creations and designs — genuinely made, altered, or designed by the maker who lists them. It is nota place to resell mass-produced goods or copy other people’s artwork. Every shop is an independent maker selling their own authentic, handmade work.

💳 Payment processing

Buyers pay through PayPal (card or PayPal balance). PayPal’s own processing fees are charged by PayPal under your agreement with them, separately from Peppaca’s 5%.

🧾 How the 5% is billed

Peppaca sends makers a monthly invoice for the 5% referral fee on that month’s completed sales. See your invoices any time under Sell → Fees & invoices.
